Ludwig van Beethoven's Seventh Symphony is much more, but it is also a captivating ‘apotheosis of dance’, to which Emmanuel Tjeknavorian, Austrian Armenian, violinist, increasingly successful conductor and, since 2024, head of the Milan Symphony Orchestra, will devote himself. The 22-year-old Austrian pianist Kiron Atom Tellian began his piano studies in Vienna at the age of seven and is already a young man who has been showered with prizes. Audiences and the press are always impressed by the ‘bravura and maturity’ of his playing. In Salzburg, he will be performing Franz Liszt's extraordinarily virtuosic and symphonic second piano concerto. And, of course, a top Italian orchestra will also be performing a lively Rossini overture - in this case the rarely heard one to the seria opera ‘Semiramide’.
