The world-class Swiss pianist Francesco Piemontesi, who was born in Ticino, is one of the leading interpreters of the piano music of the "Viennese Classic". Together with the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, which is equally at home in this field, and the internationally successful young Lithuanian conductor Giedrė Šlekytė, he will perform Ludwig van Beethoven's 4th Piano Concerto, which heralds the Romantic era.
