Opening special exhibition Lotte Tobisch

Georg Trakl's letters to his Salzburg friend Erhard Buschbeck (1889 - 1960) are an important part of the manuscripts in the archives of the Georg Trakl Research and Memorial Center. They come from the estate of Mrs. Lotte Tobisch-Labotyn, the last companion of Erhard Buschbeck, who died in October 2019 at the age of 93. In her will, she also bequeathed to the Research and Memorial Site a number of documents related to Trakl through Buschbeck. These include first editions of his poems, copies of letters, among others to Ludwig v. Ficker, and 264 cards, telegrams and letters to the writer and poet Theodor Däubler (1876 - 1934), with whom Buschbeck was a friend. In 1920 he wrote a "Streitschrift" about him entitled "Die Sendung Theodor Däubler". A part of these documents will be shown in a special exhibition of the research and memorial site.
